The Ivy Sweater is knitted from the top down in one piece. The yoke is designed so that the shoulder increases are first worked, then the sleeve increases are worked, and finally the raglan increases are worked. Shortened rows are worked to shape the neckline. The sleeves are worked in the round on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loops technique.
Size guide
The Ivy Sweater should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 12 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100 110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm, measured on the body. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is maintained). Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an upper width of 102 cm and in the above example will give a range of movement (positive ease) of 12 cm. The measurement list is available here.
