Iris by Permin is a beautiful and cool flamé yarn in linen, cotton and viscose.
Iris is versatile - wonderfully cooling on a summer day and therefore perfect for summer tops and accessories, but with a thread of silk mohair the yarn changes character and takes on a rustic and more wintery look.
The combination of the slightly shiny viscose and the robustness of the matte cotton gives a beautiful expression that is highlighted by the undyed linen, both coarse and exclusive at the same time.
The light flamé effect evokes memories of knitwear in the 70s and 80s.
The viscose in Iris is LENZING™ ECOVERO™, extracted from wood from sustainable forestry.
The wood is from FSC® or PEFC certified forests, which means that no more wood is cut than is reproduced.
