The sweater is knitted from the top down and has an oversized look. Knitted in Poppy.
First cast on stitches for the back piece and work back and forth with reversed needles so that they slope towards the shoulder before you knit the back piece down to under the sleeve. Then cast on stitches on each shoulder on the left and right side of the front piece, which are worked back and forth with reversed rows and increases for the neck. The front pieces are knitted together mid front and worked down to under the sleeves. The front and back pieces are worked in the round in stocking stitch, before the work is divided into gaps in the sides and each part is finished separately. Then cast on stitches for the sleeves as follows:
Knit in the round in stocking stitch, and finally cast on stitches for the neckline which is folded double.
