The nettle fiber gives the organic wool many good properties, among other things the wool becomes more "breathable" and a "delicate skin" can also often tolerate this wool yarn, it is therefore very suitable for both baby and children's knitting and the wool is therefore also usable all year round . In addition, the yarn gets a nice shine and natural melange, as the nettle fibers do not accept color. Nettle fiber is also called "poor man's silk", as it has almost the same properties as silk.
